Facebook Groups Feed
When you open Facebook’s groups tab, you see a blended feed of recent activity from joined groups. Lead Radar reads this stream (MOST_RECENT_GROUPS_FEED), not every group individually on a timer.
What appears
Public posts from groups that surface in your feed based on membership and activity. Muted groups may not appear.
Limits
Does not include Messenger, private notifications, or groups excluded from feed. Stay engaged in communities you want monitored.
Why marketers care
The groups feed is where buying intent shows up in public posts you can reply to. Monitoring it manually does not scale past a handful of communities. Lead Radar treats the feed as a live intent channel paired with your outbound group bundle work. Inbound plus outbound beats either alone. The feed is free intent data if you monitor it with the right keywords and reply fast enough to matter.
Common mistakes
- Expecting Lead Radar to scan groups you muted or never open
- Setting keywords without staying a member in target communities
- Ignoring feed limits and assuming 100% group coverage
- Only running outbound promos with zero feed engagement
Example in practice
A recruiter belongs to 40 hiring and industry groups but only sees active threads from 25 in the feed each week. They configure Lead Radar keywords like “hiring remote developer” and “recommend a recruiter.” A startup founder posts in a SaaS founders group asking for recruiting help. Lead Radar matches within minutes. The recruiter approves a tailored reply and books a discovery call before competitors scroll past the post. They trim muted groups from the list so the feed reflects communities they actually monitor.
In MaherPost
Lead Radar on the $37/mo plan watches your groups feed against buying intent keyword lists. Matches land in an inbox with editable AI drafts. Approve a reply and MaherPost posts through the same browser session posting path as outbound campaigns. Feed scanning and bulk posting share one dashboard. Stay active in groups you monitor so Facebook keeps surfacing them in your feed.
