Warmup Mode
Warmup mode enforces lower daily caps and longer posting delays during an initial ramp period. Skipping warmup and posting to eighty groups on day one is a common restriction trigger.
Example schedule
- Days 1 to 2: engagement only, no promo
- Days 3 to 4: 3 to 5 value posts with spintax
- Days 5 to 7: expand groups and soft promo
Why marketers care
New bulk behavior on a profile looks suspicious to Meta if volume jumps overnight. Warmup buys trust gradually so your main promo campaigns have room to run later. It is boring. It works. Skip it once and you may spend a month earning back posting access. Warmup is especially critical when you finally automate work you used to do manually in groups.
Common mistakes
- Day-one promo blast to every group you joined this month
- Turning warmup off because “other tools post faster”
- Zero manual engagement during ramp days
- Using post-restriction recovery rules on a brand-new account without any ramp
Example in practice
A new Facebook profile for a local gym joins 30 community groups. Warmup mode caps days 1 to 2 at comments and likes only. Days 3 to 4 allow five value posts with spintax across five groups. Days 5 to 7 expand to twelve groups with soft trial offers and 5-minute delays. Week two opens full promo bundles. Account Health stays yellow then green. A parallel account skipping warmup hits a temporary group posting block on day four. The gym keeps warmup enabled for every new seasonal promo push.
In MaherPost
Toggle warmup in the dashboard. Caps and delay defaults adjust automatically. Account Health aligns warnings with your ramp stage so aggressive settings flag early. Works alongside group bundles and delivery logs. Standard $37/mo safety feature, not an upsell. Turn warmup back on after any account restriction even if you are an experienced poster.
