Security

Your account stays yours.

MaherPost posts from inside your own browser, as you, only when you start a campaign. Here is exactly what it can see, what it stores and what it will never do.

What MaherPost works with

  • The groups you have joined

Names, links and member counts, so you can build bundles and target them.

  • The posts you create

Your copy, spintax and media, so the extension can deliver each version.

  • Delivery results

Whether each group post was published, pending, rejected or skipped, for your log and reports.

  • Your groups feed, for Lead Radar

Only when Radar is on, to match the keywords you choose.

What MaherPost never does

  • Ask for or store your Facebook password

  • Post from a shared server account in your name

  • Join groups or send messages on your behalf

  • Reply to Lead Radar matches without your approval

  • Sell your Facebook data to third parties

Architecture

Why the browser session matters.

Cloud tools post from their servers using tokens you hand over. MaherPost does not. The posting happens in your Chrome, where you are already signed in, which is also the only way to reach joined groups since Meta closed the group API in April 2024.

No password handover

You sign in to Facebook yourself. The extension works within that session and never sees your password.

You start every campaign

Nothing posts unless you created and launched it. Pause or stop any campaign from the dashboard.

Encrypted in transit

Traffic between the extension, the dashboard and our servers is encrypted, with access controls on our side.

Account risk

Security is not the same as safety.

Keeping your data safe is our job. Keeping your Facebook account in good standing is shared. Facebook can restrict any profile that posts too much, too fast, or the same text everywhere, whatever tool it uses.

MaherPost gives you the controls that matter: random delays, daily caps, warmup mode, unique copy per group and an Account Health score before every run. Used sensibly, they keep you well inside normal behavior. No tool can promise more than that, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Is it safe to use a Facebook auto poster?

Any group posting carries some risk, whether you do it by hand or with a tool, and no tool can guarantee an account will never be restricted. MaherPost lowers the obvious risks with randomized delays, daily caps, warmup mode, spintax and an Account Health score that warns you before you publish. How you use it still matters most.

Can MaherPost guarantee my Facebook account will not be restricted?

No, and you should be wary of any tool that claims it can. Meta decides what gets restricted. MaherPost gives you pacing controls, warnings and automatic pausing so you can avoid the patterns that most often cause trouble.

What is the Account Health score?

Account Health is a 0 to 100 score MaherPost calculates for a campaign before you publish it. It checks posting pace, how much your copy varies between groups, and your recent rejections. If the score is low, it tells you why so you can fix it first.

What is warmup mode?

Warmup mode is for new or quiet Facebook profiles. It ramps posting volume up over several days instead of letting the account jump straight to a full bundle. Use it on a new profile, after a long break, or after a restriction.

How many Facebook groups can I post to per day safely?

There is no single safe number, and anyone who gives you one is guessing. It depends on the age and history of your profile, how varied your copy is and how the groups respond. Start low with warmup mode, set a daily cap, and let the Account Health score and delivery log tell you when to raise it.

Does MaherPost post with delays between groups?

Yes. MaherPost waits a randomized amount of time between groups so posts do not go out in a burst. You also set a daily cap, and the campaign stops once it reaches that number.

What happens if posts start failing during a campaign?

MaherPost pauses the campaign automatically when failures stack up. You can then read the delivery log, see the reasons, and decide whether to change settings or drop groups before resuming.

Does spintax help avoid restrictions?

Identical text posted to many groups is a common warning sign, and spintax gives each group its own version. Copy variation is one of the things Account Health checks. It helps, but it is not a guarantee, and it does not make an off-topic promo acceptable to group admins.
