Quick answer

Can I schedule posts to Facebook groups?

Yes. In MaherPost you can schedule a group campaign to run once at a set time or repeat on a schedule, such as every Monday morning. Campaigns run through the Chrome extension, so Chrome must be open when they are due. Delays and daily caps still apply to scheduled runs.

How it works

Scheduling and recurring campaigns, step by step.

  1. 01

    Write or load a campaign

Start fresh in the composer or load a saved playbook.

  2. 02

    Choose one-off or recurring

Pick a single date and time, or set a repeating schedule for weekly or monthly offers.

  3. 03

    Set pacing

Delays between groups and a daily cap keep scheduled runs from posting in a burst.

  4. 04

    Keep Chrome open

When the time comes, the extension runs the campaign from your browser and logs every group.

What you get

Everything in the box.

All of this is part of the standard $29 plan, with no add-ons.

01

One-off campaigns

Pick a date and time for a launch, an open house or an event reminder.

02

Recurring campaigns

Repeat a weekly special or a monthly reminder without rebuilding it each time.

03

Playbooks

Saved campaign templates with copy, bundle and settings, ready to reuse.

04

Pacing on every run

Randomized delays and daily caps apply to scheduled campaigns the same as manual ones.

05

Spintax on repeats

Recurring posts resolve spintax fresh each time, so week four does not look like week one.

06

Logged runs

Every scheduled run writes to the delivery log, so you can check it after the fact.

Good to know

Limits and honest caveats.

What this feature does not do, and the mistakes that cause most problems.

  • Chrome must be open

Scheduling runs through your browser. If Chrome is closed or the computer is asleep at the scheduled time, nothing posts until it is back.

  • Recurring does not mean fresh

The same promo every week wears thin with admins and members. Rotate the angle, not just the wording.

  • Admin approval delays

Some groups hold posts for review, so a scheduled time is when you submit, not always when it appears.

Scheduling and recurring campaigns questions

Something else? Email support@maherpost.com and a person replies within one business day.

Can MaherPost post to Facebook groups while my computer is off?

No. Campaigns run through the Chrome extension in your own browser, so Chrome must be open when a campaign is due. If it is closed, nothing posts until Chrome is open again.

Can I set up a weekly recurring group post?

Yes. Recurring campaigns repeat on the schedule you set. Spintax resolves fresh on each run, so the wording changes from week to week.

What is a playbook in MaherPost?

A playbook is a saved campaign template with its copy, bundle and settings. Load it to run the same type of campaign again without rebuilding it.

Do delays and daily caps apply to scheduled posts?

Yes. Scheduled and recurring campaigns use the same randomized delays and daily caps as any other run.

Can I schedule different campaigns to different group bundles?

Yes. Each campaign has its own bundle and schedule, which is how agencies keep client campaigns separate.

Is scheduling included in the base price?

MaherPost has one plan at $29 a month, and scheduling, recurring campaigns and playbooks are all included.
