Group Bundle
Group bundles organize posting targets. Instead of selecting forty groups manually each campaign, you pick “Austin local promo” or “Buyer groups” bundle.
Example segments
- Real estate: hyperlocal vs metro buyer groups
- Agency: one bundle per client, never shared
- Local business: Mon-promo-allowed vs strict community
Why marketers care
Random group lists create random results. Bundles let you match copy, timing, and link rules to communities that actually tolerate your offer. Segmentation is how bulk posting stays precise instead of spammy. Good bundles shrink over time as you drop bad fits. A bundle is a living segment, not a static export from the day you joined forty groups. Rename bundles when rules change so schedulers pick the right copy every time. Clear bundle names prevent expensive mistakes on promo-day restrictions.
Common mistakes
- One mega bundle with every group you ever joined
- Never removing dead groups or groups that banned you
- Same promo copy to strict and casual bundles
- Sharing client bundles across accounts without permission boundaries
- Mixing client groups from different niches in one bundle for speed
Example in practice
A real estate team maintains three bundles: “North Austin buyers” (12 groups), “Investor discussion” (8 groups), and “Strict HOA communities” (5 groups, no links). A new listing campaign uses investor copy with links in first comment for bundle two, softer neighborhood copy with no links for bundle three, and spintax-heavy open house invites for bundle one. Delivery logs stay clean because rules match each segment. New agents onboard faster because bundles document which groups tolerate what.
In MaherPost
Create and edit bundles in the dashboard. Attach them in campaign composer with one click. Agencies label bundles per client workspace. Lead Radar and outbound campaigns reference the same lists so inbound and outbound stay aligned. Part of the standard $37/mo workflow. Audit bundles monthly like you audit ad targeting. Dead groups waste delay time and add risk without adding reach.
