Post Rejection
Post rejection differs from account restriction. Rejection is usually single-group: wrong promo day, link in body when forbidden, or content type not allowed.
Common causes
- URL in post body when group requires first comment
- Promo on non-promo day
- Identical duplicate content reported by admins
- New member waiting period not met
Why marketers care
Rejections teach you group rules cheaper than account-wide blocks. Patterns in the delivery log show which bundles need different copy, timing, or link placement. Fix the template once, save dozens of failed posts later. Smart operators treat rejections as free market research. Each rejected row tells you how that community wants to be marketed to, if at all.
Common mistakes
- Retrying identical copy in the same group the same day
- Treating admin rejection as a Meta restriction and panicking
- No segmentation of groups by promo rules in group bundles
- Hiding rejections from clients instead of documenting rule fixes
- Retrying in the same group without reading pinned rules or promo calendars
Example in practice
A restaurant posts a Monday special in a community group that allows business posts Saturdays only. The admin rejects or deletes within an hour. Delivery log marks rejected with a promo-day note. The operator creates a “Saturday promo allowed” bundle, moves the offer there, and uses value tips in the Monday-restricted groups. Rejection rate drops from 18% to 2% over three weeks. They add promo-day tags to bundle names so nobody schedules mismatched offers again.
In MaherPost
Every rejection surfaces in the delivery log with group name, timestamp, and hints when Facebook returns them. Filter campaigns by rejected status, adjust bundles, and rerun from campaign composer. Pair with first comment and spintax tools on the $37/mo plan so fixes happen in one workflow. Document rule changes in bundle names so your team remembers why segments exist. Future you will forget which groups ban links until the log reminds you.
